Who we are

Belvanger is a service for trade businesses, currently in a pilot phase. Belvanger is an initiative of Wesley Visser and is not (yet) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK). You can reach us via WhatsApp or by email at info@belvanger.nl.

What data we process

Demo request: if you fill in the form, we process your business name, trade and phone number, plus anything else you share in your message.
WhatsApp: the request is sent to us via WhatsApp. In doing so your data is also processed by WhatsApp/Meta (see WhatsApp's privacy policy). This may involve processing outside the European Economic Area.
Technical logs: our server keeps standard access logs briefly (including IP address) for security and to keep the site running properly. We don't keep these longer than necessary.

We use no tracking cookies and no advertising networks.

Why, and on what basis

We only use your data to contact you about the demo you requested. The basis is your request/consent: you contact us yourself. We don't use your data for anything else.

Sharing with others

We don't sell your data and don't share it for commercial purposes. We only use WhatsApp (Meta) to receive your message and a hosting provider to run the site.

How long we keep it

We keep your data as long as needed to help you with your request, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You may ask us what data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Send us a message via WhatsApp or info@belvanger.nl. Disagree about something? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

The site runs over a secure connection (HTTPS) and we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Changes

Belvanger is under development. Once the service becomes official, we'll update this statement with our full company details.
